Leaders Launch New Gen AI-Driven Consultancy in Malaysia

In a collaborative effort, former partner at Ampersand Advisory Sonny Dey and Chan Leong Teng, CEO of SKRIBBLE Me, have unveiled Athenatech.ai. It will help businesses grow with the Gen AI-driven consulting service that they provide.

Athenatech.ai is strategically positioned to highlight the significance of customer value management (CVM) and artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML). Environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) and sustainability are also part of it. This aligns with the Malaysian government’s digitalization agenda. The aim is to position Malaysia as a key hub for AI infrastructure and technology in the region. The ambitious Kuala Lumpur 20 (KL20) blueprint is set to be introduced in February 2024.

Chang expressed, “Customer value management with Gen AI will surpass current practices, delving deeper into legacy media mix, attribution, social media platforms, and other performance-related suites. It will interpret the data and recommend effective solutions.” Athenatech.ai offers solutions spanning from product environmental footprint (PEF) to ESG monitoring and reporting for enterprises and SMEs. The focus is to provide added value to SME sectors to advance ESG and sustainability platforms.

Sonny Dey, co-founder and CEO of Athenatech.ai, emphasized, “Athenatech.ai is dedicated to shaping the future of businesses through innovative Gen AI solutions, with our strategic partnership with MathCo solidifying our commitment to providing data-driven intelligence.” He further revealed that Athenatech.ai is actively engaging with business leaders in Malaysia to drive environmental solutions forward. Additionally, Athenatech.ai is establishing a Center of Excellence in Malaysia and India, Gen AI-Powered. It is where cognitive engineers are working toward a prototype rollout scheduled for early 2024.

Also, Dey, with extensive experience at agencies like Accenture Song, Omnicom Media Group, Dentsu, and IPG Mediabrands, brings valuable insights to the project. Chan, having served as CEO at Skribble for nearly four years, brings his expertise from companies like BLWN and Sime Darby Property. Hence, the launch signifies the collaboration between Athenatech.ai and AI and analytics company MathCo as they enter the Southeast-Asian (SEA) market.

Therefore, Gen AI has had a substantial impact on the industry, evident in various companies. Incorporating it will enhance their services and operations. Notably, Amazon Web Services introduced Amazon Q, a Gen AI-powered assistant tailored for work. Klook and Google Cloud also joined forces to leverage generative AI. This helps to amplify the platform’s activity content and customer engagement channels.
