“I am deeply grateful and delighted to be one of the winners of the IDEA Award 2023. I would like to express my gratitude to the organizers, Muslim Insiders, for this recognition,” said YBhg. Dato’ Kamil Othman, Chairman of FINAS, who won the award under the category of Most Distinguished Leader.
“One must possess a high level of competitiveness. An entrepreneur must also have the spirit to pursue every endeavor. This is crucial to achieving the desired success and becoming an outstanding entrepreneur recognized nationally,” he said to fellow entrepreneurs.
FINAS aims to enhance the standard and function of the film industry through various new approaches, ideas, or concepts in line with current trends. “We also aim to assist in advancing film production both domestically and internationally. Furthermore, we seek to regulate and oversee the production, distribution, and exhibition of films in Malaysia, as well as provide provisions for licensing.”
Moreover, FINAS also aims to import and export local films to the international stage, producing higher-quality films that adhere to new standards and trends.
