The Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) is a statutory body established under the Higher Education Act and the MQA Act 2007. The main role of MQA is to implement the Malaysian Qualifications Framework as the basis for the higher education quality assurance system and as a reference point for national qualification criteria and standards. MQA acts as the single body overseeing and coordinating the quality assurance and accreditation of the country’s higher education.
“It’s not a barrier to chart history, it’s an inspiration for me, even though I’m just an individual from a rural area.”
“As the winner of the IDEA Award 2023, I deeply appreciate this recognition. This award is seen as a catalyst for academics and professionals to continue working together to drive the nation’s higher education.”
“In the business world, failure in life doesn’t mean one will fail forever. Entrepreneurs need to start in business as early as possible. This is because starting a business at an early stage can provide opportunities to understand the market and create a strong foundation for future growth. Additionally, always be kind to your parents because the miraculous prayers come from both our parents.”
With a vision to become a global authority in higher education quality assurance and a mission to establish a universally accepted quality assurance system internationally, MQA is now ready to explore new frontiers in higher education quality assurance.
